Why do moles ratio give different masses?
If 2 moles of H₂ react with 1 mole of O₂ to make 2 moles of H₂O — the mass on left is 4g + 32g = 36g but H₂O is 36g too. So masses match… but ratios don't? Confused.
Great instinct that something is off. Mass is conserved (your 36g check), but moles are not — moles depend on molecular formula. 2:1:2 mole ratio just tells you how many particles, not how much mass.
